At least 30 mL of urine is necessary for proper testing.

If a color reaction is visible:
Undiluted urine produces a color reaction (red,green,yellow) on the temperature control strip.
Important: Read results within 4 minutes - after this the color indication disappears.

If NO color reaction is visible:
It is recommended that an oral body temperature measurement is taken and the result
compared with that for the urine sample.
Temperature deviations of up to 1°C are within the range of tolerance and the urine sample
is to be regarded as non-falsified.
Temperature deviations greater than 1°C indicate that the submitted urine sample may have
been manipulated.
